Sick Innovations F4i Cage...

FINALLY got my SI cage from HAI, damn international shipping takes ages.......

Wasn't sure where to post this, no real meaning to it.. but..

looks really good, well made... fitting however..

it's so easy to fit, TECHNICALLY.

but how many people have 2 socket sets? is it just me that doesn't? I can't physically fit the thing until I get another extension bar, ratchet etc.. akward as hell, but its so easy to fit compared to a F. Ing. cage, that was a bastid, nothing lined up right.

All in all, looks like it's going to protect loads more than the old cage... build quality seems good but I'm no engineer! Fitting is a doddle if you have 2 socket sets (or 2 ratchets and 2 long extension bars) .. don't think the $40 nylon sliders are going to last long though.

p.s how much do you need to spend with HAI to get a couple of free stickers???

Re: Sick Innovations F4i Cage...

Awsome cage Ive slammed it from 12 a nd from highsidint circles about 2000 times and its barely even bent. It is a ***** to get on if you dont have the right sockets and tools. It would also help if they puta list of tools you need and what side the spacers go in. Also leave all the bolts loose until you get them all started then tighten. youll love the cage though, its strong as ****.

Re: Sick Innovations F4i Cage...

There is a how-to instruction guide on their website, which does say which tools you need and what side the spacers go on etc, they just don't send it with the cage? ..

It's so easy to fit I was suprised.. just its so akward if you have stripped engine mounts, because a normal M10 bolt doesn't fit in the cage tubing, and the bolts they give you aren't long enough to bolt through the frame... so I gotta find an M10 bolt that is long enough with an allen head. ..hmmmm!

Mines not fitted yet, gotta find the bolts and stuff first damn Freestyle cage ripped my threads out last time I rode

This wouldn't be the freestyle ingenuity cage (aka, bike killer) that I'm buying off you now would it?

Re: Sick Innovations F4i Cage...

Yer man it sucks!

It's better than no cage lots better than no cage, and in all fairness I've been stunt riding for just over a year and the only damage my bikes had is the engine mount threads so can't complain really..

I spent $800 odd in total with HAI and never got any stickers to pimp on my bike

Great cage, I really like mine. Very tough and nice look too. Money well spent. Easy install. Would recommend to anybody looking to cage their bike.

I'm well dissapointed really! threw the cage, sprocket, clutch etc out the box and searched in vain for stickers! I guess I might get some with my next order when I top over $1000 with them? Maybe they are anti-english

Okay cool, just they look real cheap and useless, but I'll take it from someone who knows!

Mine is all fitted up now, had to go get another bolt for the engine cos I have to bolt through the frame, but other than that it's all good, very secure, VERY wide, fairly low profile for shins etc. Easy as pie to fit, although how the hell do you tighten the joining bar up? I couldn't fit a socket in the tube? got it as tight as I could by wedging it with a screwdriver but I think I'm doing something slightly wrong there...... ah well it's all secure so can't wait to test it out on Sat!!!

Fitted a 60T sprocket as well, 14 front.. oh man this is gonna be crazy

Hi Todd long time no speak.. saw some pics of you in the AZ thread but forgot to post, looking good!!! The sick cage is awesome, haven't even ridden the bike yet but I can already tell it's awesome. just the way its designed, braced and fits up looks like it's gonna take one hell of a beating.. the sliders fit nicely I was just unsure how long they'd last but suicidl says they are good so they are good!

I've fitted 60T sprocket, sick cage and an easy pull clutch, so raelly looking forward to some practice this weekend :YEAH

Circles, coasters, longer stoppies, not falling off, no hands/idle stuff.

Put it this way..

I've only managed 1 full circle.

I flipped 2 fast coasters in 1 day

I bent my front wheel and discs but still rolling about 100 or so foot stoppies

I fall off lots

Can do no throttle hand, can do no clutch hand but can't do them at same time

So basically I suck and just trying not to fall off too much :YEAH
