I bought an '05 636 and am turning it into a stunter. I have heard that the subframes are too weak for scraping and was wondering if anyone had info on how to strengthen them. I have a stuntworx sub-cage, not sure if it will help but any info you have will be appreciated, thanks

my boy got one and ive scraped it tons of times..dragged it youname it...hes also looped a few wheelies and came back on it very hard....noproblems with his yet

my boy has braces ran from rear sets to the swingarm bolts that bolt to the frame

05 636 still uses square aluminum pipe in their subs. Its pretty strong. better than that cast **** on gsxrs an yamahas

oh man this thread has got me worried now...... i'm getting my 12 bar monday hopefully (damn UPS) and i was thinkin bout my sub frame and how strong it was...... reading the recent threads now has me kinda reassured that my 636 will take the beating....... its done great so far!!!!!1 :YEAH

there very weak,i have welded a plate in the back tie`n it all together and have two pieces of flat bar on end welded to the plate from front to back.it is much stronger but i do high speed coaster scrapes on it and after time it has bent up slightly.the stock one bent 1`st time i scrape`d it

im on my second one lol.

and i just re-bent my new one down. it was bent up 2 inches from normal lol. other than that ive dragged bar on um, bar tricks, fast scrapes, let out the clutch on a couple coasters and there still better than the 04 and up gixxer subs. im gonna re-brace mine this week and im cutting my bar to the very tip of my tail light so its not so damn long. ill post up some pics as i get them
