Racing 905
since this main forum is about cage companies now im gonna use my
ive had the same 905 cage on my f4i for 2 yrs.... and in that 2 yrs of having it i sent it back to 905 in 3 pieces... i had to pay shipping there but they welded the cross bar back on the left side and sent me a new right side cause i mangled it so bad.... and then they sent it next day back to me... and included new mounting hardware.... as for customer service the r better than they were.... usually when i call now someone picks up the phone and if they r crazy busy they call back within the hour.... ive seen their new cages and like the gussets they r putting everywhere now... im not crazy to the new design on the f4i just cause the old design works awesome..... my bike has takeing some hits... i.e. why i sent it back to them in 3 pieces.... there for a while when mxd came out all the riders in florida were rocking them and then stopped... idk why.... but cages are like a fashion statement nowdays.... its whatever anyone says is cool to have.... i use my cage for protection.... but no hating... thats just my

Re: Racing 905
I would have been better off without the cage and only have had to replace the stator cover. The bottom support bent up into the block, and took out a large chunk out. Had to throw that motor out.

Re: Racing 905
damn, I don't get most of the people around here... there isn't a perfect cage...
Every crash is different, and every cage will break or bent !! Some people expect to buy an indistructable piece of metal so they can do anything they want with their bikes... That's just not gonna happen...
There wil always be people around telling their cages are indistructable, but face it, there will always be people around who wrecked their cage by only dropping it once on a unlucky way
When your gonna stunt, just except the fact your bike gets damaged, even with a cage...
And when you had a cage for 2 years, and it never broke down on you, even when you had a bunch of hard crashes, that just doesn't mean it's indistructable ! Some other dude may have bad luck with his crash, and break it the first time he ever dropped his bike. And he would probably say his cage was a piece of crap, although the other dude had some real positive experiances with it through out those 2 years

Re: Racing 905
Offcourse you can try to buy a cage that everyone recommends, BUT, that doesn't mean it wil last forever on your bike... Some people are just more wreckless then others, and some people call their crash hard, when other people would call that same crash a small one
A general sportsbike weighs over 160 kilo's, and when the bike hits the floor on a piece of metal (the crashcage) however you put it, it gets a hell of a punch, and you can praise yourselve lucky everytime it held up !

yeah exactly...
Offcourse you can try to buy a cage that everyone recommends, BUT, that doesn't mean it wil last forevery on your bike... Some people are just more wreckless then others, and some people call their crash hard, when other people would call that same crash a smal one
