Brake options?

Well after see the mass amount of people swapping out their f4i or 03-04 600rr fronts for 929 or 954 fronts, it made me wonder why? The bounce or 'pogo' problems of the non-inverted shocks can be fix with some thicker oil and some tuning of the forks. The only really advantage that I could see is the 929 and 954 brake rotors have more surface area then the f4i and 600rr. Which lead to the idea of instead of swapping out the whole front why not just switch the brake calipers and rotors? After looking at my friends 929 brake system I realized it would not be a bolt in swap. So I in the process of design a bracket to swap my 600rr brakes to 929 brakes. I then realized that their could be a small market for this... So the questioned remained would their be people interested in this?

So figuring that the two markets for this brake swap would be the stunt and track bikes. So my question is would you purchase the bracket for the swap? Are the 929 brakes going to make that much of a difference?

Re: Brake options?

Well that ll be nice if you make a bracket for 929 to put on an f4i front end but will it work ?? I dont know about that one cuz the forks r different ..929 has more stiff than f4i ... i ll let someone answer your question.
