Just to start off, I tried searching but nothing came up. I even tried putting in 'circles' the other day and it came back with no results so i guess it aint me just being a tard.

I'm looking to buy an F4I but I know sweet **** all about hondas. The F4I is the one with the two seats and the F4 is the banana seat version isn't it? or is I the injection model and the F4 carbed? :S

Just generally getting confused when I look at different bikes and realise I dunno what I'm actually looking at.

Ah right. We get bananna seat ones over here that are injected, so that's what was throwing me off.

THe newer F4is come with Banana seat since the 600rr..

 

Pre 2001 banana seat CBR's are the FX/FY. Carbed.

Post 2001 banana seats with the twin headlight set up are fuel injected. CBR600F, known in uk as F4 or f4i (contrary to the american f4i) they run from 2001 - 2005. It's easy to tell due to the dual headlight and the CBR600-FI written on the side.

CBR600FS - or F Sport - 2001 and 2002 only. Also known as FS-1 for 2001 and FS-2 for 2002... Twin seats, known in america as the F4i. fuel injected.


Difference between FS and the F4i (UK) seats, subframe, frame colour, rear plastics, suspension settings and gearing. Nothing too big and all parts are inter-changeable.

the FS in UK goes for quite a bit more than the F4 usually....

 

ah yes i forgot to add that 04 and up f4i's have the banana seat
