Turning the bars to the right shouldn't pull the cables any if their routed right i don't think.

I had the same problem last week with my F4i and after 2 hours of frustration of rerouting cables it ended up being the cables were adjusted too tight. After loosening them up a bit it turned like butter.

Have you looked @ the cable ajustment?

Yeah man it pretty easy to route cables tha wrong way. There are alot of cables avail that are longer. just go to tha shop and ask em 4 somin longer. I think a 919 cable fits? and they got db style bars so you should get tha length u want. just check tha ends @ tha shop (they should have good pics on their comp) make sure they match up and roll!

Re: throttle cable too short for dirtbike bars

the stock cables should make it unless you have extemely high risers or tall bars. route the cables between the tank and the triple

Did the same on my K1, just route them a little differently and it'll work good.

03 600 here just did db bars. take them out of bracket on frame and run under the tank, like diagonally(sp)towards the throtal so they come out under tank on right side of neck. works fine

Re: throttle cable too short for dirtbike bars

The throttle cables should fit fine. A slight adjustment (loosen them a little) might be needed to get them to work. The clutch cable could be a problem and if that's the case then check out clutch cable part number 0652-0010 from Parts Unlimited. (No dash needed).
