wow..... yes. there's the ignition harness part from the key that you need to disconnect too, don't rip it out.
HERE, IT'S DONE IN 10 EASY STEPS
1: loosen bolts on top tripple that hold it down on the forks
2: unplug ignition harness (its on the brake side behind the nose/mid
3: take off the tripple
4: go to bank and get $60
5: go to little ceasars n get the $5 large
6: go to lock smith and spend $20-40 on them doing it
7: eat the pizza in the half hour while you wait
8: go home
9: reassemble your shat
10: ride your shat

what kind off person only has one key to anything these days,especially to something as priority as a farking bike.
i got at least three copies to any key i own bike locks included.hope your the type who learns from his mistakes.you gotta back that sh_t up.

I only had one key for my f4i and I always thought I would loose it, then one day I did, I found a locksmith that made me a key in 5 minutes from the code on the ingnition and it only cost 3$ , but I had too drive 90 miles and waste half a day cause I live in a small town with nothing here. So any one with one key spend the time now a get a copy, I had to go threw a few days untill I found the guy and had to time to do it, just because I had one key and couldn't find it.

aw man ur screwed! U take it to tha dealer and they gunna say u stole it and call tha cops!!!!!!! u better just go buy a new bike or u'll end up in jail! or u can buy an ignition from me........

Yeah we have The Honda HISS system with a chip in the key here too.My buddy bought a crashed bike with no key and he got around it by importing a ECU from USA.......
