636 stunt cages

I was in the market to buy a new cage for my 03 636. I was hoping somebody could help me out. I want a cage that isn't going to rub when I'm going around corners fast. But still give me plenty of protection.

Re: 636 stunt cages

Depending on how tall you are you may not want to buy a powers cage. I'm 6'3" and my powers eats my shins alive......my next cage will be one from sick innovations.

+1 if you want fast cornering id say race rails.... powers looks nice and sturdy i have a powers crash cage and im 5' 10" and i dont have problems hitting my shins... but the ground clearance on cornering isnt too much... BUT good luck gettin **** from them........ bad customer service imo..... good product WHEN you get em tho....

I finally was at the shop in PA a week or so ago and got to see theyre operation. No wonder theyre a bit slow, they had stacks of outgoing shipments taller then shaq

Re: 636 stunt cages

The tygershark cage is one of the very few that can protect your plastic, survive a ton of hits, and has enough clearance for corners. But with all cages you need to be careful and find out just where the limit is in a parking lot. Nothing is worse than going down at speed because your cage hit. Race rails are great, better than sliders, but not close to a stunt cage. Call Bruce at tygershark and ask for a custom unit. Tell him I sent you and I bet he'll make something pimp!
