Re: 929 stunting

I rock a 954 ..no sprockets and I do 4/5 mph all day. Around my way all the dudes that rock sprockets are squids....

If you want a nice 929/954 sprocket set up...that looks stock to the naked eye..you run a f4i sprocket in the back and -2 down in the front....WOW! that **** is turkey....lol..

Re: 929 stunting

I have a -1/+3 right now. And learning coasters and got my wheelies down to about 10-12mph so far. Thanks for all the help guys. And those vids are crazy! I don't think I will be that smooth, but Im going to keep the 929 and see what happens. I was leaning toward a 600 but all the local guys were starting to push hard for me to have a 600 and told me "you will kill yourself and won't be able to stunt that 929" so I thought what the hell, I will prove em wrong..lol

You can see where the chain grinds against the ground.

Re: 929 stunting

anybody run an idle cable right to the throttle bodies? I tried running one tonight and i couldn't get it threaded in because where it needs to thread in is so close to the cylinder head, there just isn't room. wondering if im stuck running the enrichment screw and posessed by the devil idle forever.

Put a 900rr cable on mine,it goes on the front of the throttle bodies in the middle.I think there was a tiny nut and bolt in there for the throttle stop I had to take out.Didn't make much difference though,I actually think it pulls stronger on the stock one.You shouldn't have any problem just run your idle about 2,200 and it won't jump around and the idle is plenty strong at that rpm.
