Professional stunters income???

While watchin 40 OZ. 2 last night my girlfriend asked me how much the top professionals make. This probably isn't any of my business, but I i've always wondered what the top stunters make as well. We know the pros in most sports make millions, but what about in this industry? I always see guys in videos with sick cars & trucks, so it got me thinkin!

Enough to get by? Just hittin 6 figures? Etc.?

Maybe this will give a few youngins something to work for! :YEAH

Re: Professional stunters income???

if you are about the money, this probably isn't the career you want...if you put hard work and money needed to get to pro level into something else, you could make way more id say...

Re: Professional stunters income???

actually, I wasn't thinkin about it just for money. I was thinkin about how cool of a job it would to ride all day and still have enough to not worry about bills.

I wasn't thinking for me either as I know I already know that I would never have the time to put in and I already found my career.

The riding for the most part just gets your image out there.. what makes you money is merchandise and what not.. stunting is you being a billboard for whatever else you're sellin.

I dont think anyone is makin near 6 figures a year.... I think the cool **** you're seein is coming from other incomes....not from stuntin'.

Re: Professional stunters income???

They're not getin paid 100k for stunt shows, they may be makin 100k with all the sponserships. its like "hi kane, my name is joe rocket. i see you all over the place so i'm gonna pay you 50k a year if you will paint your bike gay *** pink to atract more attention, and then only wear my brand of jacket and gloves. oh and put a couple of my stickers on your pretty pink bike too" and kane says "ok, wheres my check biotch"
thats how it goes (sorry kane, you were just a good example)

Kane, is that how it goes or not??? Let us know.

Re: Professional stunters income???

Think of it this way...

My P&A Department at a large dealership makes 300,000 in sales every month. About 0.2 percent of that is in stunt related items. Its small, I mean, once a month small that a person asks for parts. Yes, I realize that many people order online for their gear/setup stuff, but still. The mainstream really has to bite into a product for it to take off. One of the MOST practical products came out of one of our Techs, and yet its not even it TR or Parts Unlim.

Unless Kane or Darius has convinced you guys to go out and buy Joe Rocket and Alpinestar Jackets 1 or 2 times a year, it aint happening monetarily wise. Maybe DVD sales will help though. I may be a Business Major, but that doesnt mean I have insite as to how much gross income a Pro Stunter has. I just size up the logistics and form an opinion.

Re: Professional stunters income???

Let talk about how exspensive it is to stunt then compare the incomes. Parts alone would be good payment for most!

Who r these people w/ all these sick cars and trucks???

I know of one person (who will remain nameless), but it's well known that none of his money came from stuntin....

90% of the time the $$ comes from mommy and/or daddy.

If anybody thinks they're gonna get rich off of stunt riding they're touchin themselves.... it ain't gonna happen. You might be able to live off of it, and get by, but 6 figures?!?! Cha right.

I'll stick to my nice cushy landscape contractor business.

Re: Professional stunters income???

id estimate any ware from 1.5k+ per event they get. they get free **** so yer..

i agree with the above

If you even are thinking of getting into it for the money. fk off.
i personally would love to get paid to ride, but i dont ride to get paid
i ride as a release from my stressfull life. stunts is like a game for me
more time and practise i get. the better i will become. i remember thinking
**** i cant wait to get rear break down and just sit and hold wheelies untill i got bored. now that i can. im moving on its "addictive" and its my passion. allways was doing stunts on pedal bikes and then got on motoys
then road bikes.

i lay in bed thinking of stunts i wanna try the next day. i get excited and thats what motovates me to ride.

i ride because its my release, i dont ride for the money or sponsers.
But if that happend, id be wraped.

felling me boys?
