Hey guys I am lookin into openin my on biz, i have been to a bunch of shows and I think there is a need for a high quality stunt products, and crash protection and prevention. I was wondering what the Stunt community here thought of this idea?

I would be located out of central PA and sponsering riders that use my stuff. I have been in the Motorsports industry 6 yrs and think i have alot of ideas that would greatly improve the sport

What do you think is needed that Powers, SI, FI, 905, tyger shark and 50 other do-it-yourself ppl haven't already made?

Maybe you feel your stuff will be better than the ones out on the market, so what is gonna make your cages and whatnot better than the top brands out there?

I personally think there is a need for a company that brings a new light to the cage and other products. Free **** is part of the biz and i am sure we will be doin some of that. I am more lookin for ideas etc. and i think the price will beat the competion. I also think the other companys dont offer the customer service we as bikers deserve. So lets hear your ideas!

 

well your off to a good start!

the customer service is a joke, im sure no matter where you live!
the price is probably the biggest issue, you will have to beat the competitors prices to get the business you need to survive!
the other companies sponsor the big names, they are all over the internet, they are in all the videos!

if your products are lighter, stronger, smaller, more convienent, cheaper, thats what is going to get people to talk about you!
Plus like i said earlier, you need a good solid group to ride the wave with.
someone you think is going places!
to take your name with them, to show it on their bikes, and on their vids and websites and so on.

this may be irrelevant and already known but I have noticed how bulky alot of cages are...Im 6'3" and all the ones I have seen are practcally touching my shins w/ just normal riding.....Im just now getting into stunting so theres prolly some stuff I havent seen but this has been my complaint so far

just my observation, you only have 7 posts and 4 are in this thread.... I would say you might want to learn a little more before talking yourself up. What real experience do you offer.... and yeah, HR you might wanna get off the nutz so this guy might be able to do something.....

 

i think that the market is covered and to be able to get a product, any product out to the public in a timely matter is not going to be cheap. powers, si, companys like those are great, but take forever to get the parts shipped out. so if you are going to want to get a great name out for yourself, be ready to stock the shelves before you put it out there, cause if you can turn a product out faster, that itself will be a being selling point with your customer service. i would like to see more vest protectors then just icon, must of the other guys sell an entire upper body suit, the icon is nice but only comes in two sizes and i know us smaller guys, even the small one is too loose fully tighthen. another thing that is alittle pricey is aftermarket clip ons, i would love to have a set, but at 175 or so, i will just stick to my flipped ones, call me cheap, but with as much stuff that we are having to replace just to keep the bikes going, i can find something else to spend 200 bucks on

 

you want to suceed....write this down.

build a better cage then sick innovations...sell it $175...and answer the phone and emails at 2am.

thats a start.
