full throttle problem

full throttle problem

i got a full throttle set up off my friends gsxr1000 and the fitting that is supposed to thread the inside of the mastercylinder isnt cutting thread in mine. i think its b/c it cut his and the threads dont stick out far enough anymore to cut mine. does anyone know what will fix this? if nothing ill have to drive to hai this week and pay 60 bucks for a new one.

huumm...yea you prob need a new one...which i dont get...cause that addapter is made to not cut but to mold itself in...made off some really hard material....ive used mine on 2 diff rear masters and had no problems....

i know there close...that 2 might be the prob.....if im right they newer yamis have a little bigger diameter....

Sounds like you need to get the correct addapter, Are you using a suzuki part on a yamaha? If so, thats probly the reason it doesn't fit. Hit up Bill and find out!!
