If you run DBs. ..

I gave in. .. After running my old Db bars after a busted clip-on, I got used to them. .. I couldn't decide whether or not I liked em. But I feel like I have better leverage and overall feel of the bike. Only thing is I don't like how they come back. So I wanted to find some bars with the least amount of sweep, the straightest ones out. I looked around and sum1 told me that RM bars are good. But idk. If you run DB bars, some feedback would be great. Thanks.

Re: If you run DBs. ..

I was thinking the same thing. I used Renthal CR Bends awhile back. Liked them but they set me too far back. It was harder to hang on during circles. I've decided to go back to DB's on the bike I'm building right now, and I think the RM bars have the least Rise and least sweep. I'm also going to cut them down so they arent so wide.

I just checked Renthals site, and the YZF bend bars have the most straight, low, least rise in the TWIN WALL 7/8" bar

Re: If you run DBs. ..

Fat bars are 1 1/8" at the clamp. The Diameter where the grip is will still be 7/8" inch. With 1 1/8" you can eliminate the cross bar. Which means pull throughs will be easier.

Are all bars the same diameter at the grips or they prolly run different sizes?

Re: If you run DBs. ..

Same at the grip unless you're into Cruisers!!

7/8" is pretty universal. You can buy thin or thick grips depending on taste/hand size, etc.
