Check your neck bearing. Maybe its loose . I had some same problems with my front. Checked everything. Then att last I changed to tappered roll bearings in the neck and some new wheelbearings and the problem wenth away.

I was waiting for this to pop up, if your rotors are straight it could be your front wheel bearing or even steering stem. There are fixed calipers on the front so you cant 'lube' them, you can make sure there is no dirt on the pistons...im not sure so I cant argue the tire possibility....

Re: Front f4i brake sssssttttttttutter!

I'm about to start workin on it now gonna try everything.

Just for an extra I'm swapping to a radial 636 master that I had while I'm at it.

I hope I find it and don't chase it all night

Well I got EBC HH pads for sure. They are worn even but I'm cleaning the pistons anyway

Re: Front f4i brake sssssttttttttutter!

The pistons on the calipers were terrible!

I had trouble getting some of them to even expand at first without the pads in. I cleaned the hell out of all of them like Extremeacres said.

I also put an angle on the leading edge of the pads too.

It's midnight here so I couldn't really raise hell like I wanted to in the neighborhood but thay are SOOOO much smoother. Not so much of an "on" "off" feel anymore.

I didn't use the 636 master yet.

Thanks so far.

I'll keep posting progress

It feels like they are grabbing letting go and grabbing again really fast kinda like a ssssstttttutttter!

Maybe it's just that they get smoother as they get hotter

And No the rotors aren't bent or warped.

I've been having trouble with this for a while but it starting to bother the hell outta me. Forget doin a decent endo during a show or comp

I don't know if they're stock or what I've never had any experience with aftermarket pads because I always bought stock in the past for other bikes

Do HH pads do this?
How can I tell what kind I have?
**** **** on the Stock front end after you take it off and burn it... My endos dont chatter and i can rock them cold tire just got to the spot... But try a rolling burnout and its like 40 torretts patients have an arguement.

Trash the front end and go 954rr or 600rr.

yeah you can go 1000rr but some ppl still have the same problem.
