Re: Handbrake
Ok there are two reasons most people run the brake on the bottom..
One the hand brake has better leverage on the bottom when the bike is rocked back!
And two because if you are rocked back on idle and the bike slows down to the point where it wants to stall you need to be able to pull in the clutch without letting go of the rear brakes!
If you have ever stalled up any bike and twelved it you know you at some point need to grab the clutch! And when you are running off idle and in trouble it is necessary to have good quick access to your clutch so this is why you will see most people with this setup. Also it is good practice to start learning how to throw the clutch while covering the brakes! so put your brake on the bottom, cut the clutch lever short so you can get control of both and start using both fingers when you throw the clutch out every time!!
Sorry about the long post hope this helps?

Re: Handbrake
i have mine on the bottom because for some reason i can't get it to mount right! i have a qsxr radial and msr easy pull. i have tried to swich it a few times but either i don't have enough space on the clip on(stock, fliped) or the brake line won't sit right.
