Stunt Advice needed badly......

Ok, i'm a real dumbass when it comes to bike so, can yall help me out. The bike is a 97 Suzuki gs500E for $1800...Is this a steal for a strickly stunt bike or could I do better, Its being sold out of a good sorce(Del Almo Motor Sports), but what should I look for when I test ride and inspect it for myself????

Also, is it even worth it, spending $1800 on a GS500E or should I invest in something different??? and at that is it even a good stunt bike???

Honestly, I just want something to stunt, but I dont want to waste my money on bullshit either, YOU KNOW??? and as of right now I dont have a bike anymore =(. What do you think I should do??? Btw, I am still going to buy another bike(00-07GSX-R750 if you know anyone selling), which I dont want to stunt, so thats why I am asking this question, is this deal worth it or a bust????

Re: Stunt Advice needed badly......

ok then I have a question for those vet stunnas..lol I heard that for a good stunt bike one wants after 02 to get fuel injection versus carb. How important, if any, for stunting and bike performance? Also did shocks go back to inverted in 03? and how important of a role does this play?

1800 for a gs500 is fair money for a nice super tame streetbike ....for your wife or girlfriend. not a stunter...go older inline four like everyone else here is suggesting

c'mon man... you need to do a little homework...this is extremely general motorcycle info.
FI is better than carburated....by a percentage...like maybe 15% or 20% cause carbs dump fuel and sputter when rotated 90 degrees (like doing a tall wheelie) BUT Good riders can still do most stuff with practice... so carbed bikes can be stunted ...they are just not as desireable....and they cost less.... You get what you pay for ....straight up
Forks are the same way.... there's No certain year that forks went inverted....it's different for all makes and models.... inverteds are a percentage better (most of the time) maybe that same 15% or 20% BUT once again .....good riders can stunt the **** out of standard forks....and once again...Inverteds usually mean a little higher price.... Its all relative ...straight up
