wheelies school!!

Im wonder if it's a good idea to pay for learn how to do wheelies? I've been trying to learn at my own but I crashed my bike once so I figured out that the best way to learn it's on someone else bike + you will have a instructor helping you out to inprove but I so confused cause I know that a lot of you guys learned at their own so I need help to make my decision? Shoul I keep my money & keep practicing at my own or should I go to school?

Re: wheelies school!!

Just ask someone on here to teach you. I bet you they will charge you half the price of the wheelie school and actually teach you something worth knowing. That wheelie school thing is BS

You asked this same question a long time ago.

What exactly are you trying to learn? Just to do a basic highway wheelie or a slow wheelie?

Re: wheelies school!!

when i started doin wheelies, everyone i rode with was riding slow BP wheelies and i was still doin power whoolies and everyone of them said its easier to learn highway wheelies first and jus play with the rear brake then you can make the transition a lil bit easier to slow wheelies....that what i did and it worked for me.....get used to clutching them up and slowly work your way up to BP.....my

Re: wheelies school!!

The kickstand switch??, oh my gosh. I think that you should go to just ordinary school, forget about the wheelies, take a stinking shop class or something!! WOW.

I bet your dealership loves it when you bring your bike up for those $250.00 oil changes!! lol

ummm....what was your first clue?

as far as learning, just learn on your own. ur gonna crash. best advise i can give u is to clutch it up to bp and while coverin the rear brake. do this over and over and over and over and over and over until u get it down. then learn other stuff.

i actually looked into that "whoolie school"

and ya, you ARE on someone ELSES bike....but if you crash, theyll make you pay for it...you're liable for up to $700. (this was years ago...might be difference now)

and they don't tell you that **** up front!!!

in other words, might as well do it on your own bike

Re: wheelies school!!

go buy some time on one of those wheelie machines! prob. cheaper than wheelie school. i saw a mobile one getting pulled by a truck the other day, new silver gsx-r on it! i was with my dad (harley dude 30+ yrs. ridin), and there was 2 big fans on the trailer, and my dad said "are the fans so the squids can feel the wind blowin' through their hair when they fake wheelie!" i almost pissed myself laughing!

You can go to ononewheel.com. They teach you how to power wheelie which is not what you want to do. Just start clutchin it using either one or two fingers to pull the clutch in. You'll get there.
