f4 problems need help

f4 problems need help

so ya i have a 00 f4 and just yesterday it started acting up on me. if i pull in the clutch and quickly give it like half throttle the bike will choke and then rev up.. and now if i do it and hold it at half throttle it will continue to choke and then backfire.. anyone know whats going on. i need to fix my bike its unsafe i'd hate to be goin down the road in a frog and have it cut out on me

i just spent 2 much on my race sled as it is.. need to fix the old faithfull

my kind of did the same thing...when i dropedit on the left side and sat like that for a min or too....i rode it around (once i could get it started) for a while to clear it out....flooded the **** out of it...fouled 2 plugs...replaced them and was good as new...it was weird the bike would idle good till i pulled in the clutch and gave it gas to try to go...cut out cut out go cut out go....

heres my plugs... i ordered new ones today.. the 2 center cylinders have oil on the plug higher up on it than normal..

Check your spark plug caps!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had them come loose once, and then they wouldnt seat properly. It will jump that gap and spark when the bike is high rpm or idle but it cant make a proper connection when reving up.

Mine did the same thing, idled fine, then wack the throttle and it would sputter and choke and then BAM rev up real high.
