Best cages and best customer service I've seen to date. The 3 bar setup is the ultimate in pimp F4i cage technology.

Re: tygershark

I find it so strange about these cages, that they don't have a support point at the bottem... it's just cornering there with no where it's mounted on

It's kinda hard to explain, but imo it would be an even better design, if the lowest front corner (nearest to the radiator) would be mounted on the frame with a good and solid solution...

cause that's the place the cage will hit the ground first when you drop it... Not on the crashpad, that just makes sure it doesn't roll over...

You can only mount a cage on a bikes frame in so many ways. If you look at it, mounting on the lower portion would make the cage larger in size (not good) its also not a strong rigid part of the frame, rather its a small tab that would bend and put force on the motor (very bad) and mounting it lower would cause it to toll over easier (even worse). At first I was skeptical about the lack of a lower cross mount but when I saw how the cage takes the impact it all made sense. They don't roll over on the F4i on drops and you can pancake that ****** with some heat on it and she'll take it with a smile.

I wasn't talking about the position of the cage, I will gladly believe the position is OK. It's just that I find it strange, that the lowest front point of the cage, isn't connected to the frame somehow. Or that it is connected to the cage on the other side of the bike...

I'm not a big fan of a cage that is connected to eachother, cause most of the times, one good crash can ruin both the sides of a cage, cause it bents...

But this way, doesn't look ideal to me either...

It's a good thing it doesn't roll over, but I allready understood that that was the purpose of the slider... It's big and in the right position to prevent the bike from rolling over. It's just that I don't understand the choice of the cage builder to not mount the lower front point of the cage somewhere and somehow to the frame... On a strong position of the frame

Re: tygershark

their cages are badass. dropped my bike hard the other day and the only thing that broke was the slider. Blends in well with the bike too.

I'm thinking about switching from my Sick Innovations to a Tygershark. I love the SI cage...is a Tyger really worth it?

ull love it bro....ive never heard anyone complain about em!

btw, if u already have a 905, then u DON'T need to drill anymore holes. u just need the frame slider hole...(and thats IF you're running plastics)

u should expect to receive ur tygershark by the end of the week! :YEAH

...just keep an eye on ur inbox for tracking info.
