Re: Homies

I used to rock a F2. There good bike but heavy & the gears are really short compaired to newer bikes. Second won't come up with just clutch, you have to bounce & clutch up. & I used to rock stock 2nd gear standups at 60-65 & the rmps were screaming way too high. I changed the gearing to -1 +8 & it helped alot. I still had a decent top speed 130ish, & I could bounce/clutch up 3rd at 60-80 & my rpms were good & not too high.
It's a great bike to learn on. They want to stall on the 12 bar though but regular ballence point & alittle behind ballence point does good with no stalling.

Re: Homies

-1 +8 was perfect on mine. For that bike it was perfect.

Before anyone clutched wheelies bouncing up an F2 on the highway in 2nd and shifting to 3rd to cruise was the norm.

About the stalling, did you ever try an F3 fuel pump? I would imagine that would solve the problem.

1K is cheap, you can flip it for a few hundred more if you feel so inclined.

Re: Homies

Never added a fuel pump but it would work. i know guys on F3's scraping 12's with no problems. The fuel pump would help alot but I never added one.

Re: Homies

Shipping would be absolutly rediculas to ship a bike that far. I wounder how much though?
And why the hell are bikes so expensive there? Do they make alot more money than the US or something?
