New Stunter, Need Advise
I just decided to learn to stunt ride, I have a cbr900rr. I just ordered a -1,+2 sprockets, and a 12 o'clock. I'm looking at cages, not sure which one to get. I still want to ride corners though. There is a "no name" cage for $75 on e-bay. It looks like just a bar that goes under with a brace on each side and no slider. Any Advise?

that ebay one is probably ****.
If you still want to do the twisties & stunt, eather get the Powers Race Rails, or the Sik Innovations cage is really good too. You can check out eather at

It's worth spending the extra money on something decent if your gonna stunt.
Both of these have alot of clearence for turns.

All 3 brands below I have heard great things about, 905 racing makes great cages too but they are a lil $$$. If you are just starting out and have no, or close to no experience then I would just get some frame sliders till you at least get wheelies down. A cage is for when your startin to get a lil crazy and have to drop the bike in order to learn. Good call on the 900rr, great bike and can handle a lot of abuse. If your stuntin stick with the honda or kawi from '00 and up.

Re: New Stunter, Need Advise
my bike came with a powers race rail when I bought it used. Thats what turned me on to the company. I dropped it in my driveway on the pitbull stand because it was moving and I tried to adjust and my lame **** never tightened the adj. bolts.....bam the bike fell over. Luckily that was before I put all new parts on. I wass still mad but the race rail did save the bike. Although it did roll over a bit. Thats where the cage extended sliders come in. For a slow tip over it would be fine but stunt crashed are something else and I would prefer to know that a full cage is on the bike. Plus cage extenders keep the bike from rollin over to the tank or complete flip overs. Not saying it wont happen just a preventative thing
