yea, the excavator and trailer i use to take out underground oil tanks on the side for my fathers business that he owns. the duramax has dynoed 420hp and 830tq with the bully dog tripple. full 4 inch exhaust, intake and trans mods. Takin it easy on the highway i get 22-23 mpg also

kane, throw some basic mods on that new cummins and get some killer fuel mileage!

 

how do the mid 90's diesel trucks do mpg? do they get in the 20's?

depends on what you buy. I think dodge is the only one that consistantly gets above 20. I get about 22 highway, 19.5 mixed. i should get more when i put a 190 degree thermostat in. even more if i change out the rear end gears. i have the damn 4.10's now, and they are nice for towing, but its too short for normal driving. 1st gear is almost worthless. mine is a 99, i think the older ones are even better.
