Forgot to mention 247,000 miles and going strong. Kane that engine will outlive the truck.

Im pretty sure my 04 6.0 Power Stroke w/ a bully dog chip, bully dog outlook center, bully dog out 4" turbo back exhaust & a bully dog cold air intake makes over 800 ft lbs & over 500 hp. Not sure thats under-powered, but to he is his own.

Next is methanol injection to add another 70+ HP.

My truck will drift the 33" tires, blow donuts, pull holeshots w/ my 28" trailer on the back, smoke mustangs & camaro's.

These late model DIESELS are amazing. I own a ford, but I have heard the duramax honestly makes more power with the chip. I don't know much about the cummings for power adding - I know it motorhomes & equipment that motor makes huge torque & such.

DIESELS ROCK. I swear by mine. I do 1,000 miles per week and get almost 19 miles per gallon. All in a 8,000 lb truck. In the same gas truck i would probably get 10 miles per gallon.

Or i'll take my 19 mpg in a 8000 LB Diesel that will tow a building down, or smoke a mustang at a light.

and pull my 28" trailer & not feel it with 10 bikes in it and ruin them all.

Keep your beater pulling your beater.

the chevy I thought had the nicest looking interior but after sitting in the megacab dodge it was over. the thing is just soo much roomier than both the ford n the chevy. its ridiculous. the backseat is more comfortable than the front seats on my old chevy.
I think the cummings also is a way smoother feeling motor.
although I bet my old chevy would smoke my new truck in a race. I was just sold on how big, convienient and nice the dodge was compared. the bodystle I also think is way sleaker than both the new chevy or ford.
umm its cummins not cummings.

j/k

I drive a 99 cummins. I will never go back to a gasser again. 20 mpg and enough power to tow a house. cant go wrong. i wish i could afford a newer one.
