Re: so i am now scared to wheelie my gsxr

Damn, bummer bro. Irony is a bitch.

Just weld it, it will be alot cheaper. I saw your bike, **** dude you can plate it if you have too.

Wasn't your bike the one with the big plate sticking you in the lower back while also giving you more solid footing for seat standers?? I liked that, I wanna copy that idea eventually in some form or another for my gix!

Where is the crack in your F4i frame at?

I knew some people who had these problems with the big RRs. Maybe not the frame breaking completely in half, but definatly cracking issues! Having a plate welded over the crack seems to solve the problem. The real problem is that after a while you have one big repair patch when you get enough cracks!!

Haven't really heard of the F4I's cracking. But I guess it's possable. Newer riders are a bit harder on the frames and such...I know everyone comes down pretty hard when learning!!

Haha, where at?

I managed to crack mine where the hoop on the left side connects to the main frame.

bullshit kenny

this was happening to gixxers since 00 when they switched the frame style. anyone remember thew blankstrom? his was re-welded MULTIPLE times. i know of a lot of gixxer frames that crack at the welds of the neck. they are super weak there.

now, 06's might have a big problem with it, but i know every gixxer frame is weak. gixxer frames breaking and motors blowing up is a common problem.

Re: so i am now scared to wheelie my gsxr

And they call you DangerDave......where is the danger in that??
just joking around bro, don't lash out!!

It's too late at night, and it's too late for me to turn back now, so why worry about my gix? I might as well use it for what I bought it for.

If I was worried about my bike getting F'd up, I sure wouldn't be doing this with it.

I'm like the little devil on everyone's right shoulder saying "Do it, do it! heh heh heh!" in this thread!

The same devil who saved a grand because Suzuki was the only dealership around here that worked with him. Honda said I couldn't even get a new f4 at the time (in 06), trust me I went there first....

the gsxr750 gets an awart like every year. It's been bike of the year for what like 5-6-7years? But they dont test the bikes for stunting. It got an award cause it's a sick track bike and will run with 1000's and still feel's like a 600. I love my 05 750 but im sure if they did a stunt test not a track test a 636 or an f4i would be getting the award
