HO_Hey bracket for a 954
I just tried putting mine on and the hole from the bracket and the swingarm hole don't line up the original 954 bracket fits fine and I tried to line up both brackets side by side and it looks like the front piece on the HO_hey bracket that slides into the notch on the swingarm is angled up more than the original bracket. Anyone out there experience this? Ho_Hey, if you're out there let me know what's going on. I need to get this beast on the road asap...lol I'm definetly not bashing your product cause these brackets are top quality and I've bought 3 from you and it's probably just me ****** up some how.
just let me know. thanks...

it's not you bro, been talking to Hohey and it looks like the bracket you got will only work for the 929. You would thing it would fit the 954 too but it doesn't. The answer to fix your **** is that he finally came out with the 954 specific caliper bracket. Call him or shoot him an email and he'll take care of the issue.

Yeah he will take car of it for sure! He called me yesterday and had my bracket shipped out today for me. Definately great guy to deal with. I still need to ship him back this 929 bracket but yeah they are two different ones.

Re: HO_Hey bracket for a 954
I apologize for the mix up it seems that when I originally checked with the Honda dealer to see whether the 929 and 954 brackets had the same part numbers the dealer misinformed me. We make sure to check everything we make before it is advertised for sale but in this case we didn’t have a 954 handy to fit check our bracket so we went with what our local Honda dealer told us. I personally asked more than 3 times if the part numbers are the same and they told me yes but once we noticed a problem I went back to check once again to hear the same thing that they are the same part numbers I had to ask to look at the computer myself and it turned out that the first 8 digits or so are the same but after the dash they are different so I told the dealer how that error of telling me they are the same has affected 2 customers and caused me alot of unneeded work . I apologize guys and we have plenty of 954 brackets I will get it all squared away so your up and riding soon just make sure to email or pm me the email address used for your paypal purchase so we can get a 954 bracket out to you. Thank you for your penitence. Ho Hey

Re: HO_Hey bracket for a 954
got one on my F4i with a brembo 16X18.....its nice for sure. Had a few people complain my brakes were too touchy, handbrake and regular footbrake, but I can feel everything thru em and long coasters are getting easier and easier, so I can't imagine my extra caliper is causing that much extra drag on the rotor either......at least nothing like a welded bracket might.
