flipped stoppie now bike wont turn over..
so i flipped a 180 stoppie and the bike landed completly upside down and sat there for a few seconds until i rolled it over.. now when i push the starter it doesnt even go to crank over. when i rolled it back over oil started to leak out from somewhere in the engine. also all the electricals are fine. any ideas on wat the problem is??

it is hydrolocked. just take your plugs out and when they are out turn it over. oil will shoot out. do this a few times till no oil shoots up. replace the plugs start the bike up. the will shoot smoke like theres no tomorrow out of the exhaust. once the smoke clears get back on and do another stoppie. recommendation change the plugs

yea thats the prob, my f4i sat upside down for a little bit in a ditch and had to pull the plugs. It will prob smoke for a few hrs lol. make sure to check and add oil if needed

even if you let ur f4i sit on its side for a bit it gets hydro locked and it will act like its seized up after you crankit with out the spark plugs in let it run for a bit its gonna smoke like a bitch but its just buring the oil out of the cyl

Re: flipped stoppie now bike wont turn over..
If you not going to run your bike for a couple days just park it on the kickstand...the oil will seep back past the rings (park it in the sun to heat up and thin out the oil)... This will prevent a mess and a headache...you would still have to replace your plugs and your bike will still smoke. Turning it upside down to remove the oil is cool but you need to remember thats how the oil got into your cylinder in the 1st place...but your motors cold now so the oil wouldnt flow past the rings nearly as fast as it would it its hot.

Yeah but it will only hydrolock in 1 maybe 2 cylinders....

Re: flipped stoppie now bike wont turn over..
can't you just put it on the 12 bar for a bit? i dont know if f4i's react different but my buddy hydrolocked his gsxr and we just proped it up at 12 for about 30 minutes and then it started up.... just an idea, good luck bro!

That would be worse than putting the bike on the kick stand....When its on the 12 bar the cylinders are nearly horizonal, the oil wouldnt flow out of the combustion chamber it would just puddle on the intake side of the cylinder....but somehow it worked for you...im kinda baffled .

If that doesnt work, and its still seazed, put a cap or two of marvel mystery oil on top of each piston and try push starting it a couple times (without the plugs in) should free em right up

Are you High? The motor stuck from oil sitting in the cylinders and you recomend putting more oil in the cylinders. Please dont post if you dont know what you are talking about.
