spreaders question.

I recently started working on spreaders, but when i get to the balance point I can't see ****! How do you see whats ahead of you? Do you see through the holes by the forks just like on a sit down or do you look over the front end? Is it because i'm sitting to far in the gas tank? Any advice will be appreciated.

Re: spreaders question.

do sit down wheelies at BP alot, and you will soon seem to not care about looking ahead. im 6'1'' and all i can see is fender, front wheel and blue sky... u get use to keeping a mental image of whats infront of you and you learn to trust your brain, if your rocking the streets u gotta peak arround the side every few secounds.

im only 5'10" and I can see right over the front of my f4i doing spreaders

try sitting with your *** further back on the tank, and your head up higher...

Only problem I have is on sit downs, I hate not seeing on the streets so i never rip sit downs on the streets

Re: spreaders question.

I simply do not believe that it is possible to be seen of no way, first sights and soon you have to maintain moto straight and to follow the trajectory in line straight

Re: spreaders question.

I can't really see where I'm going either. I have a general idea I just can't see what's directly in front of me. If I have to I dip the front end down a bit so I can see and then pull it back behind bp to slow it down again.

I can' do ******* heel clickers for miles and see just fine

Re: spreaders question.

if you cant see when your doing a spreader your doing it right, if you learn how to do them with out a hand brake, your even more of a pimp.

Re: spreaders question.

i peek around sometimes, but if you are on a street just look down at the lines...make sure the bike is between them and you'll be on the road.

i'm 5'9", rockinga 30mph balanced spreader on the street i can't see anything but triple tree. (streetfighter bike)

if you're leaning forward then your feet will point forwards or down, not way up like they are suppose to be. feet should be above head. lean way back, throw those feet way up.
