929 954 help

what is needed to swap a 2001 929 motor into a 2003 954 ?? any help will be appriceated

you'd need motor with all electronics, airbox, gas tank


I've heard ppl just swapping the motor and using all the 954 stuff...it'll run rich but getting a 954 power commander with a 929 map fixes that. Also have read that that could lead to motor problems.

I can't remember who but someone had a 954 motor on a 929...so I guess it shouldn't be too big a deal...

i have to go backwards cus i have a 954 with a blown motor and a 929 mtor lying around.. with wire haness and everrthing

thats all u need i did a 954 into a 929 the only problem is a few sensers ex. tip over senser(and the 2 under the drivers(954) seat is on the upperstay(929) and the tip over senser is on the upperstay(954) and under the seat(929)) is in different locations not that big of a deal.

SWEET THANKS ALOT IT IS STREETFIGHTER SNA THE SENSORS ARE BYPASSED SO THAT IS COOL
