RR's have the worst seats ever. after 1.5 hours on mine my *** is killing me and i get off my **** at stoplights just to get the blood flowing again. take BLK's advice and get a truck!

I rode from oceanside, heading to orlando..... made it 20 miles from the east side of texas, and the bike died. Had to drop it at the nearest shop and fly the rest of the way.

Its not gonna look cool but get a cushion for your ***. My buddy rode his R6 like 10 hours straight and he walked like he just got out of prison for a few days. Mabey put a folded hoodie under you or something, Thats gonna be the hardest thing. If I lived even close to you & you gave me gas I'd drive my truck there & pick it up for ya. I'm in NY though.
Also it will makw the trip alot better if you stop every once in a while and walk around. If you don't your whole body is gonna ache.

Yea, stop often and walk and stretch. Dont know if you heard, but people that fly alot are getting blood clots in their legs and theyll break off and wind up in the lungs or kidney or some ****....
Common since would say, that the position on a sports bike could do the same, maybe worse. Considering your legs are back and the seat pushes on the inside of your thigh, causeing LESS bloodflow.
Just a thought, you dont want to get "busniessman syndrome"

Oh **** I got a really good one.
A cheap 2 piece rain suit. Getting cought in the rain & getting soaked will make 1/2 hour feel like 5. I bought a cheap $10 dollar 2 piece rain suit from walmart & I took a 3 day motorcycle class to get my liscense in the pouring rain & it wasn't even bad at all. Everyone else was soaked & I was fine.
Trust me even if you don't expect rain this is very small, cheap, & you will thank me so much if you get cought in the rain.

Re: most hours in the seat...
Thanks everyone.
The truck/Uhaul idea i've played with, but uhaul wants 567 one way, plus gas for their smallest truck.
I have a big silverado, but i get like 13 mpg. That'd be ~300 bucks each way, plus 2 days of driving in each direction. Add in food, hotel, lost days at work, etc.. and i'm up to probably a total cost of ~1000.
I got a cheap plane ticket, and gas to ride back will be ~95 bucks.
I've already got on my list,
power bars,
tire plug kit
rain gear
aspirin
camelback
phone charger
mp3 player (mine takes a triple A, **** IPOD!).
About the seat, i was going to pick up a Corbin for it since it's a POS.. but otherwise i'll take a hoodie or a couch pillow or something and sit on it, no way i'll ride 1200 miles on that cardboard seat!

Re: most hours in the seat...
load up on advil 800mgs or smoke some doj....(advil would be more legal)
ive done about 7hrs 2up, from norcal to san luis obispo and back...but that was on my old f4i...i didnt ride for like a week after that trip!
when i first got my 1krr i rode 2 hrs to my dads, and i was dust.
def get a tire plug kit, ear plugs, ipod, sunblock for ur face(dont want the shield tan) and stay hydrated.... stop every few hrs and stretch when u get gas. also save urself a few bucks and run ur tires on the hard side for the drive(35-40lbs cold) rain suit is a good idea, as well as hard soul shoes or boots. long drive makes ur feet hurt with sneaks, on too much bending. Watch out for the man when ur smashin in podunk towns!!

Thats a good list. Also don't forget sunglasses. Driving back if you have a bright sun in your eyes is gonna suck too. Also before you go check your tire pressure, lights, electric, brakes everything just to make sure your good.
If your driving straight through get caffine pills or energy drinks. Just make sure there 100% driving safe.

Re: most hours in the seat...
careful with that, **** like nodoz is "driver safe" but can make you hella jittery, jumpy, and/or shaky, and probally be better off tired.
I tried no doz on post a couple time in iraq, and in training evolutions, and i was so jumpy, i almost shot at anything
and whoever said hydration, thats a ******* must. A camel back would be a good idea. ESPICALLY if your loading up on caffine.

Re: most hours in the seat...
Sucks that RR's have tiny *** trunks! Can fit a six pack in the 9five4 trunk. Gotta stop and rest your eyes too, cause after 6+ hours you start to see double. Good luck, ride safe.

Thanks all.
I'll take my mirrored and clear visors for the arai, so i don't think sun glare will be an issue.
I can't take caffine pills or anything, that **** ***** me up.
I'm all about smokin a bowl every few hours tho, enough to keep me calm and relaxed without sending me into that daydreaming state i've found myself in a few times. :D
