front brake prob...

so i was ridin around practicin stoppies. my brakes we shot to hell so i put my new ones in. i go to test them and they feel only a LITTLE bit better than the old ones. why is this?

because you probably didnt bleed them right if at all

yeah you have to break the new pads in. You should also get a stainless steel braided front brake line for your front disks. This will make endos more easy & consistant.

alright. im pretty sure i bled them right. and there pretty broken in i practiced for bout 1hour after puttin them in

It could be a # of things.
1. Seed the pads in.
2. brake lines
3. bleeding the lines
4. clean the brake dust out of the pistons
5. the kind of pads your running.

alright...ill check those things today...and i have ebc brakes

alright. i have the day off so ima worl on my bike and get it nice for this weekend. i wish my dad would take some pics of me. lazy bastard. no one else will so if i dont get pics up... thats why

dude get that braided line, there not hat expensive & will be alot better for rolling endos.

i got a braided line last weekend and put my front one on last night.... i never really go all out trying endos, just like a couple here a couple there, so i figured the steel braided woulnt matter for me...


That **** is hella stiff every time now

Also try talking to the people at www.sumofallparts.net there a great site too that might be able to help ya. I just tried searching & found them for the earlier kdx200's but not 98. Let me know what the guys say that we posted & if they still can't help ya I'll look somemore.

use a whole can of brake cleaner and dowse everything if your like me when i was younger you probably have blown fork seal that leaked fluid on to your front brakes.

Bounce real hard on your front end & check ther seals in the middle of the fork for fluid comming out of the seal.
