can a OHlins steering damper be rebuild at home or must you send it in to the factory???

ok if no one knows what kinds of dampers should i look at to replace it. i heard scotts is the best but i stunt prety hard and dont want it to break if i dump the bike again! i know shagga sells daytona dampers but they are not top mounts for an r6. please help!!

Scotts are the best, correct me if i'm wrong but I think they have a lifetime warranty. A bit on the pricey side though.

they survive because they don't have a rod sticking out like most dampeners. also, they are way more adjustable than any dampener. You have your high speed valve, the regular valve, and also you can adjust to what degree the steering is dampened (like, full lock to lock has dampening or just a small portion) and it's all adjustable on the fly.

whoever said they were pricey, they really aren't. they are only 75$ more for a scotts than an olinns or a hyperpro. that's not too bad considering the ease of install and the adjust on the fly setup.
