Someone may have said this by now, but white is the best color to use for hiding imperfections. Black is the worst. If you plan on going back, spend a lot of time on prep work so the finish doesn't show all the sanded areas etc.

Re: What color...Please help..

Heres the pics, hope this works. Just took the pics so its kinda dark out but, the color was supposed to be gunmetal grey, and my paint guy mis-read the mix sheet and put in tooooo much blue. He called me to pick up the plastics and said i could take em as they sit or he'd respray them, i just took them and put the bike together to see how it looks. I kinda like it cause its different.

Know anyone interested let me know. :YEAH

Re: What color...Please help..

I built it for my girl to ride untill i sell it. I'll raise it back up when sold. I went with a all dark theme. Carbon pipe, black Sato rear sets, carbon levers, etc. Like i said before, DON"T PAINT IT BLACK, I looked at a TON of bikes online and some look good black, just not this body style. Good luck man, post some pics when your done.

i think its cause the sides are kind boxy.... the black doesnt have any contrast...

like look at a raven r1, it looks good cause some parts are glossed, and some parts are flat black, and all the insets, and shadows made by the layered style fairings make it look sick...

thats just my opinion thought

the gsxr looks preatty sick white though. I think a candy red would look too

Re: What color...Please help..

This is kinda late, sorry

My buddy is painting his 04 gix 750, and he wants to retain some of the stock details, just give it a new, not so stock color. And after playing with photoshop, i liked this one the most. But i think hes going with either a bright copperish color or a all black white grey color scheme....
