Re: Stuntin wet pavemet
Stunting in the RAIN? everytime I go and do a wheelie on DRY pavement my back tire always spins and when i do an endo sometimes my front tire skids too. How the hell do i prevent my back tire from spinning. I pop the clutch. should i try letting it out quick instead of just dumping it?

I'm friends with alot of the guys at the local dealership so I just pick through the pile when guys take em off...:YEAH ...thats the cheapest way....
pilot powers promotes that they have more tread on the outsidest most part....I've had the most luck with not only take off pilot powers but also a new one....

dude watch the video i posted in the first page as an example. your clutching it way wrong if your slipping your tire in the dry. go find a local spot with local talented riders and ask them for some advice. best thing you can do to learn.
and when you get into riding alot more youll learn buying new rears is retarded cus youll go through em so quick. find a dealerhip hook up wiht them adn get permission to rubbig through tires. fronts on the other hand esp if your rolling long endos...i opt for buying brand new personally

stunting in the rain just takes more finess like peopel said.. In the summer when its hot as hell stunting in the rain is cool because it keeps your bike running cool and keeps you cool and you barely notice a difference with traction you just need to be smoother with everything

I dig rain ridin.......it's all in the smoothness of your clutch work, and the finesse of your body english(as said above), BUT how the **** do you pull 'em up in the grass, Scott? That is something I have NO experience doing. I can pull 'em up in the dirt and ride 'em through grass, but it feels like ice when I try to pull 'em up ON the grass.

You can bring it up in the rain no problem.. Its ALL about weight transfer. You can even start a slow burnout basically and just shift your weight as you get on the gas. Proper timing and up it comes. I have wheelied in grass and those stadium shows are the same deal. Slow burnout heats your tires then transfer the weight and up it goes.

So......you tellin us you didn't pull it up back there on that nice little strip of pavement? Maintaining a wheelie on grass is no problem, but pulling it up on grass is a BITCH. Not saying it can't be done by any means. I just know if I were you in that pic, I would have definetly pulled it up on that pavement behind you.

FUUUUUCK. THAT!!! is that a yearly thing, or every few years? i'd hate to live there. the problem we have down here is that we're below sea level by almost 10 feet, so we get quite a bit of flooding every single year.

Luckily enough......no. That was an extreme season. Things don't seem to be as predictable when it comes to the rainy season around here. Last year we only got something like 33 inches total. Winter sucks.

Stock gearing, Pilot Powers at 32 psi and no problems in the pouring rain on the highway here..... clutching up at 70mph, and holding it steady at 75ish. No spin.
Now my boy even with a brand new race tire can't clutch up in a light mist on his GSXR6
