Stand up or sit down

Re: Stand up or sit down
I learned sitdowns first. Now standups feel really weird to me, feel like Im gonna flip right over. Before I totalled by bike, in a sit down, 3 years ago, I started being somewhat consistant with standups, but now Im back to square one again with them....

Re: Stand up or sit down
whatever you feel more comfortable practicing, is where you should begin. Right now is when you start building your confidence, without it you will go no where. Ive seen guys try things based on what everyone else was doing and slow down there learning curve. But the bottom line really is you have to try it to learn it. It will always feel uncomfortable at first but with each wheelie/stoppie/stunt you try, you get more and more comfortable

Re: Stand up or sit down
sitdowns may be a lil more tedious to you cuz if you're running full fairing you won't be able to see in front of you when you hit balance point.....and if you're really short it might hurt you a lil doin standups.....jus cover you're rear brake if you feel like you're back too far then give it a lil tap to ease you down some........jus don't over compensate on the throttle
