I was originally going to but decided not to due to the extra weight on the radiator.. Didn't want the tabs to break off

Are your tab's made out of bubble yum???

Engine ice is a great product and worth the money.

F4i radiator tabs break easily from added weight and stress

Pure water absorbs and transfers heat better than just about any substance there is, but you shouldnt run pure water because it doesnt lubricate the water pump good enough. I dont know if youve ever heard of water wetter but thats pretty much all it is, a lube for the water pump so you can run pure water. I've even heard of guys adding some soap detergent to water. The only drawback to pure water is it lowers the boiling point a little bit but you should be alright if you have a good cap, most race cars use pure water with a lubricant in it and its mandotory in most racing leauges. Ive never used engine ice but I dont think that it could work any better than pure water.

I use the VP Be-Cool.
And you are correct all of them are the same as water wetter. It is just a lubricant for your radiator.
