250 ninja question
this one dude is hard up for money and has a beat up '03 250 he only wants $200 for. i figured this will be alot cheaper to play around on than my k6r, does anyone know where to get sprockets for these 250's, and if they make cages and a 12bar for them, where can i get this stuff?
the bike's not going to see the road at all, so i'm looking for at least a 55 tooth rear, a 60 would probably be better

Re: 250 ninja question
yeah, for $200 and i'm just learning i don't want to f'up my normal bike... parts for 250's are cheap as hell i just didn't know where to get sprockets and a chain for it.
i think i'm gonna weld some bars around the engine, and figure out something to do for a 12 bar although i'd rather buy a fabbed 12 bar, i'll make one if necessary.
this thing has a big *** fat front tire on it too, appearently he didn't have money to buy a new tire so he took one off a cruiser andput it on, and since it didn't fit with the fender on, he just took off the fender. this bike is fugly lol, it's got a trailer brake light electrical taped up under the seat for a brake light, and has a 6" circle headlight duct taped to the front end, and hell it's only 4 years old lol

Re: 250 ninja question
hahaha sounds nice
the motor doesn't really stick out on those things ,the clipons and the rearsets are all you really need to worry about......

Re: 250 ninja question
it's got a steel frame so you should be able to make any bar work just weld it on......hell just put a peice of flat sock across the stock subframe and weld that on......

Re: 250 ninja question
yea, i'm not the wheelie master or anything, but this one squiddy poo started off on a gsxr1000 around town, and he totalled it last summer. one of my friends was making fun of him cause he said he couldn't pull up a 600 (due to the severe lack of power compared to the liter bikes). well i said **** it, try on my bike. i thought the poor guy was going to start crying in front of everyone when he kept flooring it and pulling up on the handle bars
he didn't clutch it or bounce it... he didn't know those things existed, he htought you could just hit the throttle and pull up a bit on any bike

Re: 250 ninja question
what do you guys think would be a good sprocket setup? i won't be out on the road cause of the small issue of not having a title, but i don't know if a 70 is just too big lol
i think the stockers are 15/45,
