Smell gas after a stoppie

I get a little wiff of gas from my 99 R1 after a stoppie. Is it normal cause the carbs get turned over a bit and it may escape out of the breathers or is something wrong here?

Yeah, especially if your rollin them high and long, but if its a short little one there may be other problems, but more than likey a small amount commin out when you tip the carbs during a stoppie, wouldnt worry about it.

thanks dude that's kinda what I thought. I'm not good at rolling them but I do get them up there pretty high. It doesn't happen much on the small ones.

I have a 99 wheezie too.

I started to smell gas when doing endos too. I only noticed after I put in the jet kit though.
