lowering links can you still stunt???

my friend was going to put lowering links on his 954
lowering it 2 or 4 inchs he wanted to know if he
could still stunt he has 12 bar, cage, the whole nine yards
was wonderin if it will work or F something up. He's 5'5

If you lower the back you will have to slip the forks slightly up the triples to compensate...not worth it... changes the whole ride ...I'm 5' 3" and ridin 1K's Only thing I really have a problem with is burnouts...

Sweet, a lowered stuntbike. This could be the start of a whole new thing. It's gonna be awesome trying to ride wheelies on a razor thin BP. but **** he will 'look' like the coolest kid at the lot.

i'm looking to raise my bike back up...need stock links...lowered sucks, the cage gets stuck & performance sucks

alie cage gets stuck???? on what? some links have a hole for stock length just change yours to the longest hole

Im guessing that the cage bottoms out when you she comes down hard. My bike was lowered when I got it, and I hated the way it handled

yeah...on even curbs and it scapes on turns. I adjusted it to the highest setting possible, but that's still a inch and a half lower than stock. I gotta buy the stock one on ebay.

ohh some have two holes and some have three the one with two must only 1.5 to 3. alie can you even touch the ground on the stock ride height???

The ones i took off mine only had 2 holes, but thats because the guy cut the bottom hole off. I think it must have been rubbing the inside of the fairing.

yep i'm on my toes, but its more comfortable. Turning a lowered bike at slow speeds is way too hard.
