Tank Grip

I'm lookin for REALLY good tank grip for my f4i. It's already got a DEEP dent thanks to the prev owner, hurricane james.
Most surf grip I have used doesn't really do that well. And skate board grip tears jeans up. I'm lookin for very grippy rubber with adhesive on the bottom.
Any good threads or advise would be great.

Re: Tank Grip

Try grip tape they use on boats, or the kind they use on surf/wake boards.

has enough grip for me, then again im not doing anyhting too crazy yet
never slipped off a frog or anything

It has a rubbery feel to it, kinda like the real rhino lining.. And you can put it on as thick or thin as you want

it was in the Auto section at walmart, the specific **** I got is "duplicolor truck bed coating"

Re: Tank Grip

i used this stuff you get at lowes its like the ruber on your wrench handles. its cheap works well the only prob i have is that it rubs off easy. but i just put it on top of paint not to the metal tho.
there is a thread about it somewhere ill see if i can find it!

Re: Tank Grip

grip tapes messes my pants up too, and I was looking at the spray bedliner but I dont know if that would be enough grip. it would protect against gasoline, and also be extra support for the tank but I dont know if it would get the job done as far as "grip"
