my father in law in CNCin me some rear pegs. There gonna be foldable fatties.

 

powers makes one for the f4i too. i like the powers subcages better because they are using both rear peg mounts per side then running the hoop between them instead of just one peg mount per side.

 

i use both mounts you can see it in the 636 picture and i also tie the sides together with a bar

 

does the powers sub cage come with the brace to the front pegs?

 

and that is the way it should be made. but the powers subcage uses 2 3/4" pieces of schedule 40 pipe per side. i'm thinking for rigidity. but you roger, hands down are an inovator.

no what you are talking about are called "sub ties" and they are not included in the subcage package. i'm not sure how much more they are but if you are buying a subcage i'm sure matt would give you a deal on them. tell him Krazy White Rich sent you for a better deal!

i also use 3/4 schedule 40 and one peice of that **** is about 100 times stronger then a stock peg bracket all by it self and then connecting the right one with the left one is all the strength i think you would ever need

p.s i think they should call it 1 inch because thats what the outer diameter is...that always bothered me ...lol

 

they don't measure most steel pipe by the O.D until you get up to 14"

i think that bent tube is over kill, you can get the same affect simply running a piece of flat steel from the mounting plates to each other

 

^^ your right... but see how the bent peice is farther back than the brackets...
If connected the brackets I don't THINK you would have enough clearance for suspension travel.

 

in your picture your bottoming your **** out and i can see your passenger rear set mount on the right side still.
