Noobie Question on Clutch wheelies

Noobie Question on Clutch wheelies
I've been doing my clutch wheelies at 4000rpm 1st gear.. grab the clutch.. throttle up and dump the clutch.
Is it safe to do it at higher rpms like 7000-8000? does the front wheel come up more and more abruptly as you initiated it at higher and higher rpms?
I've never tried this in other gears.. would i still be able to clutch it up using the same 4000 rpm?
What r the different characteristics when clutch wheeling at different RPMs? and at different GEAR?

I think your crazy for learning clutching in first gear O_o haha. But yes the higher the rpm the faster and higher the front end goes up. Try popping the clutch at about 12k and you should get to bp real nice

12k clutch up & BP? Does the bp stand for back pain? If so than yes you will have lots and lots of back pain!

And if your not sure if 7-8k is good to clutch up than try where your at, and slowly work up to where you feel comfortable. Practice & if it's not comming up fast enough than give alittle more gas & so on...
You need to take it in steps or your gonna get hurt bro.
& I don't even look at my tach when I clutch up, you just get the feel of how much gas to give after a while. It's all trial and error & lots of practice. Good Luck!

indeed.. i need to take it in steps.. well.. looks like i have a lot of practice to do..
thanks bro!btw... does the same technique i use in 1st gear(clutch up at 4k), work in 2nd and 3rd gear? wut are some of the differences in technique, and things to look out for when wheeling and diff gear?

I learned in 1st gear.. just keep bringing it up higher and higher. **** takes practice. Then start hitting your brake to bring it down. You just gotta put in the seat time.

lmao if u dont know how to wheely i wouldnt be clutchin it in first... read the guide thread and if that doesnt help start with basic roll ons in first then when ur comfortable with the wheel comin up try clutchin it up in second with rpms at about 6-8k depending on cc of bike. learnin to slip the clutch in 1st isnt the smartest way to learn, but if u are post pics of ur wreck

I learned in first on an r1 i bought that had +3 in the read... i took me forever to get bp and throttle control, but it was still hit or miss.
Then one day i was like "dude... what about second gear..."
and it was amazing.. lol. THEN i went to learn staggard and it felt wierd at first.
