Re: I can't Wait To Try it!!!
oh yeah, and those are way to far out if you plan on putting your upper back on, i had to pull mine in almost back half way between full out and stock. i still like it cause they are flipped, but dont get to use to it if you plan on running the upper
thats why its better to run the clip ons on top with the 636 cause you can flip the tripple and the ride height isn't affected. i just kept mine down low
so whens the motor making it in?

Re: I can't Wait To Try it!!!
how many race suspensions have you setup? exactly, i do it every weekend. if you want me to bust out the geometry numbers and confuse you on how much out of wack your front end really is then i will...but for now, knowing that adjusting the front end in MILLIMETERS makes a difference in the ride. get on the bike, first time you snap up that front end, it tank slaps and throws your *** to the ground i'm gonna be like
darius could do stoppies about 15 years before he put his setup like that, i'm sure if he wants to chime in he'll state that it make the front end more flighty and it's more unstable if not a lot harder to control. do what you want cause it's your bike, but don't reply back to me like you know suspension geometry when you really don't.

Re: I can't Wait To Try it!!!
when you lower the bike it makes the center of gravity that much harder to pick up. think about a lowered race car and then a monster truck. now if you only had front brakes on both of those which one do you think would flip over forward easier?? its the reason why dirtbikes are way easier to roll stoppies on. the center of mass is already slightly above the front tire, lower the center of mass and it takes more effort to lift it. ppl like to think that a low front and a high back makes easy stoppies but its not true, the only way that would be true would be to have a smaller front wheel which accomplishes putting the center of mass higher than the tire......i hope that makes sense.

darius kills **** because he's been stunting longer than you've been in school.
