just got home...colton deserved to win, he beat us. personally i did not have my best run of my career and i made significant mistakes, as did other people. Edub had the most entertaining run of the weekend.
a few questionable scores, but there always are...judging is an interperative thing and i think the judging was good.

all I gotta say is who do you think has been teachin this kid since day one!? hes been riding with the best in the world from the get. hes an awesome rider, a hard worker, and his dad works him harder still!! lol. Aarons learned from the best, its only natural that hell become the best...
but he will never be.. me! :P

true that, the kid is a sponge...takes everyone's tricks and does them. the only thing negative i can say about his riding is that he still has to develop his own style, but that comes only with time. best run for best run, he may not win against a handful of people; but he is super consistent and that earned him the victory. he is as nice and deserving a kid as there are out there, and he is a true champion. he asks questions, listens, and applies...more adults would be better served if they did the same thing.
i am now more motivated than ever and i think that i am going to keep my new trick ideas to myself from now on, because i think colton will learn them faster than me!!
ps. more people need to ride like edub...makes me think this sport can go somewhere if we can get the crowd cheering like that!
great to hang with everyone...pissed i didnt get to actually ride with anyone, but it was fun to see all my friends and meet new ones.

for the LQC we took the top 10 guys and added that to the guys from the east and the guys from the west who had previously qualified
then on sunday morning we did a qualifier where that entire group (LQC, East and West) got cut down to 10 total for the finals
