im selling my gixxer when i get my new job...im going to try to make it as mint as possible..take my cage...and oilpickup and **** off..paint it jet black!!..maybe find a few tank without a dent in it?? and sell all the **** i take off the bike..I want to buy a 600rr..they are tough from what i've seen..pros and cons?? and dont start this f4i bullshit..i just wanna know pros and cons.. how much could i get out of a pretty mint 2005gsxr600with a new motor with 500miles on it with an extra motor that needs a main bearing?

I just got a 600RR. You will need a cheater peg if your over 5'10". Most parts are interchangeable between 929/954/f4i/1000rr

check the 600rr f4i thread, it explains the pros n cons of both bikes, the f4i but also the 600RR. for me the 600rr is more ergonomic, needs a pipe, filter n culd use a power commander n that was on an 05, all around great bike, superb parts interchangability, also check the thread about the 1000rr m.c. on a 600rr, good opinions

I would say 4250 if it looked mint and they didn't know it was stunted.

well how much do you owe, depends if there is going to be a title with the bike, how many miles is the speedo going to say cause when you tell someone you just put a new motor in it, and they see that its not factory color, first thoughts are that it has been stunted, i have seen them with around 6000 miles or so go around the 5500 mark, but like i said, thats having it fully mint looking, and i know your upper is cut down, your going to have to get a new tank, a pipe, so your going to have to spend a little to make some

'05 GSXR 600 -- clean title, no evidence of being stunted (no cage, no bar, etc.), fairly minty plastics? You shouldn't have any trouble getting $4500 - $5k out of it to someone who doesn't know that's it's been beat up -- to a stunter it's only worth about $3500, so don't try to sell it on here. Check NADA and knock off $500 because it's been repainted (people assume that it's been wrecked if it's been repainted). That's just my guess, I wouldn't know for sure.

Is your 636 minty or stunted... Might have a GSXR for you here.. mines stunted but have stock plastics..
