Busted on the street today

"Violator was travelling west on xxxxx Ave in right lane of two when he proceeded to pull up on his front wheel driving on his back wheel for a distance of at least 100 feet" This was not a nice way to arrive at work to sell bikes all day. My license was untarnished till this morning. This is a misdemeanor Reckless driving charge. Luckly didnt get locked up but will have to go to court. Practiced all night in the lot then this Guess Ill keep it in the lot from now on. Sorry for the rant. Ruff Ryder Jeremy -DER- Wish me luck!!!

Re: Busted on the street today

Get a traffic lawyer. You can usually get advice for free, but he'll go to court for you for $250-500. Most of the time you can discuss it with the DA and get them to drop it down to false start, accidental clutch drop, etc, etc. So try and discuss this with a lawyer cause two points for 7 years suck ***!!!
I was caught filming **** in a car and police took all my **** and gave me a misdemeanor. But the lawyer caught that the officer wrote it up under the wrong Letter C instead of B which was the difference betweem 1 point or 2. More advice: DONT GET CAUGHT FILIMING, ITS WORSE THEN DOING THE ACT. You can drop a wheelie down to something else but filiming, there's nothing to drop it down to.

Re: Busted on the street today

I went to court last year for a reckless and the judge knocked it down to an unsafe start with a $70 fine and a date with the driver re-education school...again!

Re: Busted on the street today

yeah but its hard to blame a
100 foot wheelie on an accidental Cluch Drop or downshift..
What about the Whole throttle control thing
to balance it up for more than 15 feet.

And if you really say it was an accident cant they revoke your license
and make you take the test again! because nobody should really be popping wheelis on accident, Even the JUDGE would say thats
"SUPER SQUID.."

Then he would say that "if you are illiterate, you shouldn't be driving in the first place."

Damn man that sucks. In oceanside the cops are durty and underfuned so theyll bust you for not doing a wheelie. And if you do, hell no, your bikes going to the lot, your getting an undetained arrest

Nope. You would be surprised how a lawyer can explain it. Anything is possible. My friend just got one dropped down and he was riding a wheelie on the freeway for atleast 1/4 mile with the cop following. But really that doesnt matter its all up to the DA or how the lawyer comes off. And if you get lucky the judge got laid the night before and got his/her favorite parking spot that morning, so they might be in a good mood.
