It was a shitty deal bro. i have run plenty of times and got away. this time i wasn't so lucky. Did a wheelie saw the cop roll up behind me with lights on. i dipped out. took the next exit and BAM. another cop sitting there waiting for me. truck in my lane slowing to turn and cop in left lane made me slow enough so the cop behind me could get my plate number. (i didn't have time to bend it up b/c he was already creepin up on me when i saw him) You win some you loose some.

@ my Dealer that 1) Flips down with a switch and 2) blacks out completly.
Extremely easy to install and not much over $100.00...

unless he tries to read it and when he does his thick head wont get it ,

Re: Busted on the street today

in MO they don't even write tickets.....they just escort you thru traffic when you need to ride really fast, or they'll follow behind you in a wheelie with their lights on to make sure nobody gets to close behind you. Then when you don't need their help anymore you just give them the universal "thanks mr. policeman" signal (one finger) and then he slowly dissappears behind you when you start going faster, splitting cars, and turning onto different roads. Really caring cops will escort you even longer and make sure you get thru some of the tricky corners and turns at those speeds.

i don't know why cops get such a bad rap, here in KC they follow us everywhere!

.....100 feet???? shoulda at least earned that ticket man!

you get a lawyer in the family.....or even better, be like me and have a judge for an uncle......"8 tickets......K.......no prob........dismissed x 7......and one more lowered to a defective turn signal.......$200 and a night in jail.....SWEET"

So what you got ain't ****. I didn't go to jail long and now all i got was probation and some community service.
that looks like the first half of what I was charged with, but I didn't get the gangsterist charge of all.....DRIVING ON A SIDEWALK ....awesomeness!!!!!! only thing woulda been better is wheelying while on a sidewalk and running pedestrians off the sidewalk.....woulda been a sweet ticket there!

wait.....ur supposed to make your plates visible??? I mounted mine on my 600rr so it sits flush against the pipe......with the numbers facing the pipe, even doing a 80mph freeway endo you can't read that ****. Works good! And its on 2 cabinet hinges so if I'm not doing anything wrong i pull over and apologize for "forgetting to have it angled down after leaving my practice spot"......has worked several times, sometimes I even have to even show em the bent up end of the plate and explain how when practicing endoes the plate hits the tire......which is why I flip it up in the lot. Seems to work really well.

Hey genious (I use that term loosely) you get in more trouble for having one of those than for a wreckless ticket.

Re: Busted on the street today

As long as you pull over most of the time the cops let me go....one reckless....but I got let go about a dozen times because my bike was legal and I pulled right over...one day of community and the reckless got erased..

The Point was , if you had one of those....

You wouldnt be getting pulled over in the first place
Or like he said, " Only Pulled over because they got close and saw his Plate"~~~

you got it all wrong....
when he asks "why didn't you pull over"
you reply " I didn't see you"
he asks "I had my lights on the whole time!"
you "yeah, I took my mirrors off cause if I woulda seen your lights in my mirrors it would have flared up my epilepsy"

then he says "why didn't you pull over when I hit my sirens?"
to which you reply " how am I supposed to hear anything with wind rushing thru my helmet at 140mph thru traffic? seriously!"

Then you wake up and realize it was all a dream, cause you know better than to just pull over!

Anyone remember the seen in Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas where the cop was going to pull Johnny Depp over? cops need the thrill of the chase, don't just pull over, speed up, then put your turn signal on to let him know you are about to make a sharp turn at breakneck speeds.....then if you wanna pull over all you gotta do is give him a kiss and he'll let you go.....must be true, saw it in a movie! <----explains why Kane wears pink so much!
