buying an F4i & need help

I'm buying an F4i on wednesday and I was wondering if you guys had any tips on buying, like problems & things to watch out for?
I'm driving like 4 hours to get it & I'm leaving wednesday morning to get it.

Re: buying an F4i & need help

You should find someone to take with you to look the bike over. Obviously your clueless. Ask for pictures and descriptions of everything about the bike, so nothing "surprises" you after you drove 4 hrs to look at it.

I usually don't travel any farther than 2 hrs to look at a bike, because you drive 4hrs to look at this bike and its junk, your gonna be pissed but more than likely buy it because you just drove 4 hrs and dont wanna go home empty handed. Find out all the details now.....have em meet halfway.

Re: buying an F4i & need help

Ask him not to start the motor until you get there, make sure it's cold so you can listen for engine noise when started...If it clacks like crazy for more than 2-3 seconds...pass on it...
