Re: Insurance

Get your parents to put you on there policy.

I paid $80 a month on my 929 for full coverage under my own policy. And that is with a minty clean driving record.

Anyone that says they pay $20 a month or some ridiculous low number on their own policy for full coverage is lying. Or they aren't on there own policy i.e mommy and daddy or they have liabilty only.

Re: Insurance

i was quoted $760 a year for 929 liability, 21 years old, 4 points on my record right now, previous suspensions and many prior points and tickets. i pay $120 a month liability on my truck, it sucks but it's the first insurance i've really had since high school and 3 months after i got it in november i was driving down the street n got hit by a 19 year old

+1 for cheap insurance!
-1 for the wallet

oh yeah... BTW KID: UR GETTEN DONE IN THE BOOTY

correction, i'd be financially well off (not rich) if i didnt have 2 kids to support. besides, i dont have my MC endorsement yet and i need that to get insured. i'd go get it but it takes about 6 hours at the DMV since the line is so long. and trust me, i know about the corps; i did my time and got the **** out.

8000-12000? I'd just rock no insurance and pay a laywer to get you out of sticky situations

I paid $320 my first year on my 2002 f4i, first time DRIVER, first time RIDER (never had insurance before)

This year its $220

I'v been in a accident that I was not at fault, and i'v had a no registration ticket

edit: all I gotta say is **** The big places. Geico, progressive, state farm ect..
State farm quoted me at $1,500 a year, but then informed me you gotta be atl east 26 years old and have had your license for 10 years!
Geico quoted me at $1,200
And progresive said they can't even insure me because my record is too bad! I guess no registration and a not at fault ticket is too bad for a 19 year old

Re: Insurance

At 18 years old on a 954 with a 2 or 3 tickets at the time - they wanted almost 7 grand a year for full coverage.

If you're getting insurance so that you can get a bank loan, just get a personal loan. Slightly higher interest but you don't have to insure chit. If you're getting insurance to register your bike, just get liability (or whatever your state's minimum coverage is) for the first month, register the bike, and drop the coverage. It will only cost ya a couple hundred bucks.

Goodluck.
