i am -1 +16 and the bike sucks at everything...
just never feels right
i am going to tape up one side of the air box and see if that makes a differince... just seems as tho idle is kinda hard to get unless it is craked WAY up...

just wondering if anyone else has had this problem...
dont know if it is the geariing or if i just suck that much

Re: f4 gearing

The f4 is a wonderfull machine however it runs like a bag of **** and less then consistant. So id run less gearing becuase the more you gear something the slower you are going to be when your on idle which can be hard to learn. I had mine at -1 +3 and it was fine. Make sure its tuned for your altitude and heat. Unlike the f4i, you have to do that yourself and if its off your going to loose your powa. You have to look after your F4 you cant neglect it like an f4i otherwise its going to run like ****, bogg down and your just going to rage more then anything. Chances are its your bike. I went from my f4 to the newer bikes and i can NEVER go back.

Just curious how fast you go on the highway?

I mean, -1+10 gearing should make your f4 top out around what, 115-125ish?

How fast do you need to go on the highway?....

Im getting ready to get +15 no my f4i, and you better believe imma still kill the highways

Re: f4 gearing

i'm +15 on my f4i and i rock highway all the time.

it's probably a combo of hte carbs and your brake control. carbs are a bitch to tune.
