rolling burnouts

hey guys, I was wondering... do you have to be able to do regular rolling burnouts before you can try figure 8 burnouts. I was messing around the other day and I did a half circle.
should I keep trying the figure 8's or just I practice in a straight line first??

Re: rolling burnouts

but i DID mean to turn... what I meant by "messing around" was that I was trying to practice doing figure 8's

Re: rolling burnouts

fine fine... let me rephrase my whole dilema
I already CAN do straight rolling burnouts, but how hard would it be to start on figure 8's?? should I just keep practicing straight rolling burnouts before I begin to practice figure 8's??

Re: rolling burnouts

once you have straight ones down... work on donuts to the right, then donuts to the left, once you have both those down, work on the transition between them...

Re: rolling burnouts

if you can do straight ones.. why would u keep practicing them if you can already do them???..... lets think here.... if you wanted to do a figure 8... which involves 2 circles, and switching directions... what would a logical step be to learning.

Re: rolling burnouts

well i was asking because usually when doing straight ones you end up going all fast... and maybe there was a way of slowing them down a bit Name: dunno.gif

Re: rolling burnouts

do you really want your best stunt to be a burnout??? Id practice something different that doesn't require high gas consumption and rapid tire wear....Like Wheeling... It may require a lot of gas but at least ur not watching your money being burned to the ground... just my 2 cents though...

LMAO, gotta learn how to walk before you run....my opinion is its easier to 'accidently' turn than keep it straight and pointed where you want it....
